About the author

William Bostock is a political scientist with a special interest in language policy and its effects. He has written on language policy concerning French, Dutch, Flemish, and Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia and language grief. He is currently working with Hervé Guillorel of Université de Paris 10-Nanterre to create within the International Political Science Association a Research Committee on Language and Politics.
